Poor housekeeping can lead to an injury.  In making a workplace safe,  we look at the more prominent issues such as lockout/tagout, fall protection, etc.  But housekeeping can and should be done by everyone.  When you are walking around the job site, look for items that are out of place.  Some of the situations you might find are material blocking access to a fire extinguisher, eye-wash station or emergency exit.  Housekeeping can contribute to a high-risk or low-risk environment.

Create an organized workplace so that we can hit the goal: Nobody Gets Hurt.
